Reserve your spot today! We are offering four poultry processing workshops this summer at Carnation Farms.
Whether you have a small farm, homestead, or have backyard chickens, you will learn how to successfully raise and process your own meat chickens. This is hand-on workshop includes slaughtering, scalding, plucking, gutting/cleaning, as well as vacuum packing your meat. Every attendee will leave with one fully processed bird.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost is $155 per person/ per class. Classes are held on the Farm at the Poultry Processing Shed. Mary Jo Burson will be the instructor.
