Come to our Farmview Kitchen to learn how to make your own fresh bread and maintain a Sourdough culture in your own home! Let Chef Isabel, pastry chef at Carnation Farms, teach you the ways of gluten development and home bread bakery. She will teach you the basics of flour types and when to use them, how to maintain a wood-fired oven, and a variety of breads that are easy to bake at home.
You’ll be making: Ciabatta, Sourdough, Pizza Dough, Bagels, Baguettes, and quick bread.
You’ll learn: Bread bakery, visualizing gluten development, maintaining/using oven temperatures, Baking based on flour types.
You’ll take home: Bread from the class and a Sourdough culture
