(Re)connect with your Authentic Self!
with life coaches Amy Coffman, Ele Dootson, Kathy Pearce & Suzie Alexander
So many of us believe we can “have it all” and attempt to balance fulfilling personal lives with families, community involvement, and rewarding careers. Yet, all too often we are falling short of the dream of living our healthiest and happiest life. The result is feeling ‘stuck’ living a compromised life, ‘lost’ and unsure where next to focus our energy, burnout resulting in ‘just going through the motions’, feeling like there ‘must be more to life than this’, or missing that one small element for true happiness. Join four uniquely qualified Life, Career, and Leadership Coaches to learn the surprising strategies we all need to prioritize health, family, and self. In this workshop, you will go through self-reflection and small group exercises to identify your values and strengths, articulate them and hone them even more. You will also be exploring ideas and practices of daily habits that strengthen emotional resilience. Using well-researched theories paired with our corporate and coaching experience, we will offer practical tools and tips to prepare you for success by leveraging your own unique gifts and potential. The results allow you to create a fulfilling life of wellness and freedom, holding unlimited possibilities, and the ability to stand firmly in who you truly are. NOTE: Individual one-on-one coaching is being offered by each of the four coaches later in the day.
In this session you will learn how to:
• Tap into your unique strengths and values to get clear on your life priorities
• Prioritize your personal life while being engaged, energized, and impactful at work, at church, and in your community
• Use neuroscience based techniques to boost your confidence
• Construct new skills and habits to achieve your goals

1:00 – 1:30 pm Digestive Meditation & Yoga in the Dance Hall
1:30 – 3:30 pm Awaken To your Creative Spririt in the Alpine Room
Track 2
Awaken to Your Creative Spirit
with artist & creative leader Susan Jenkins
Awaken to your true creative potential. Breathe fresh energy into your life as you connect to your dreams and open to your creative desires. Discover the infinite possibilities that life offers.
Learn to laugh at life. Put romance, mystery, joy, play and adventure back on the menu. Open your heart and reveal your true north. This requires taking a risk and being willing to be vulnerable. The rewards are invalquable, bringing a renewed sense of connection to yourself and others.
Through the creation of a new story, you will begin to see that your self-perception is simply a story you tell yourself. You may be stuck in that same old story, growing weary of it. Learn to make new, healthier and ultimately more joyful choices by no longer adhering to the limits and restrictions you impose on yourself.
Susan will lead a variety of exercises that will build a new story from the ground up, leading to a more enhanced creative life. Through character creations and developing the landscape you wish to inhabit, your creative thinking will surprise and delight you. You’ll discover actual steps to lead you in the direction your heart desires.
By setting an intention, you can shape the story of your life. You only have to choose. If you dream it, you can take steps to make it real. It may not happen in the exact way that you envision it. Let go and get out of the way. Watch how fast the universe comes to your aid when you devise playful and festive plans. Lighten up! Dream your dream. Watch it grow!

Gratitude Blooming is a community project based in Oakland, California. It began with two friends seeking inspiration, beauty, and opportunities to create deeper connections with each other and their communities. Inspired by the beauty and wisdom of nature, a collection of 39 cards was born, each with original drawings, themes, and thought-provoking prompts that invite us to cultivate new perspectives and appreciation of the beauty present in the ordinary moments of our lives. Gratitude Blooming offers practical tools and transformative group experiences for cultivating gratitude as a wellness strategy in your life, work and community.
