A perfect expression of American-Style Chardonnay, this is a rich, buttery drinker with loads of apple, pear, and citrus notes. Enjoy the crisp elegance and delightful acidic punch.
Zinfandel – Troon Vineyards – Applegate Valley, OR – Biodynamic, Organic – $23
Don’t let the light translucency of this wine scare you – this medium-bodied stud is a serious drinker. Big black cherry, brown spice, and brambly red berry notes lead to a tannic and plus fruit finish. Serve slightly chilled, and enjoy with late season fruit and big, juicy tomatoes. If some bacon gets into that mix, we wouldn’t be upset.
Valley House Brewing Spring Lager- 16 oz bottle $6
This crisp, refreshing lager is made with organic barley grown here at Carnation Farms in partnership with the Washington State University Bread Lab. This grain was malted locally by the mad scientists at Skagit Valley Malting, then brewed across the valley in Duvall. Light bodied, easy on the palette, and a perfect pairing with our famous fried chicken.
