Farm Camps

Dig Into Your Food at

Carnation Farms Summer Camps!

We invite kids to our open landscape to unplug and to tap into their inner curiosity and sense of wonder. Our Certified Organic farm serves as an outdoor classroom, exploring the local food system; campers walk away with an understanding of how to grow vegetables and raise chickens, sheep, and rabbits through hands-on learning and play in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley.

Each week is an adventure on the farm, campers explore the local food system through:

>>Taste the Farm – Campers harvest and taste organic veggies, herbs, and flowers from our working farm and learning garden.

>>Meet the Animals – Participate in daily farm chores where we help care for our farm animal friends. Campers get the chance to collect eggs, feed and pet lambs, and move the rabbits to new pastures.

>>Learn the Cycle of a Seed – Campers get their hands dirty tending to plants in the learning garden. This youth-run space is vibrant and full of sensory delights like spicy edible flowers and bean trellis hideaways.

>>Hands-on Arts & Science – Bug houses, flower pressing, pond investigations, and gourd musical instruments!  Activities and crafts vary from week to week, but every camper has something to proudly share with friends and family.

>>Outdoor Play – Campers are outside all day, exploring the wide variety of ecosystems on the farm.
